What is Milonee?
Milonee is the Bengalee Association of Colorado, USA. Milonee promotes the art, culture, rituals and traditions of Bengal in USA.
Milonee celebrates various Bengalee festivals throughout the year and encourages participation by members and well wishers at these events.
Is Milonee a non-profit organization?
'Milonee of Colorado' has achieved the tax exempt status under section 501(c) of the internal revenue code in May, 2011.
Your donations to Milonee is subject to tax deduction.
What festivals does Milonee celebrate?
Milonee celebrates Saraswati Puja, Milan Utsav (a member get-together around May/ June), Durga Puja and Lakshmi Puja.
What are the benefits of becoming Milonee member?
By becoming a member of Milonee, you will receive event notifications and invitations from Milonee in a timely manner.
This will help you plan ahead to attend the events organised by Milonee.
How can I become a member?
You can Register with Milonee by following this link. Alternately, you may go to the Membership tab at the top navigation, and click Register.
Please follow the instructions and provide necessary details. Your data will be recorded to the Milonee database. You will start receiving email notifications and invitations from Milonee regarding upcoming events and festivals at due course.
Does Milonee publish any magazine?
Yes. Milonee publishes the annual issue of its cultural magazine "TuliKolom" during Durga Puja celebration. Members receive a copy per household of the issue, free of cost.
